Oscar De La Hoya-Manny Pacquiao fight is set for Las Vegas

Manny Pacquiao is set to fight Oscar De La Hoya on December 6, 2008 at Las Vegas. This is going to be the biggest boxing match for this year.

The said match between Pacquaio and Dela Hoya is according to Dwyre of LA Times "the grand finale of 35-year-old De La Hoya's unprecedented career as the box-office king in a sport that has survived on his back for more than 10 years without a dominant heavyweight."

The bout will take place at the MGM Grand Hotel Garden in Las Vegas. And as usual HBO will present the pay-per-view showing.
